HSA & FSA Eligibility — Use Your Health Dollars on TechSpecs

Yes — you can use your HSA or FSA on TechSpecs

TechSpecs RELAX™ glasses are low-power (+0.50 magnification) reading glasses designed to ease the eye strain, fatigue, and headaches that come from long days on screens. Because they're magnification reading glasses, they qualify as an eligible vision-care expense under IRS Section 213(d) — the same category as any pair of readers. That means your pre-tax HSA or FSA dollars can go toward a pair, and most people save roughly 30% versus paying with after-tax money.

How to pay with HSA/FSA

Pay with HSA/FSA is enabled on our store, so it's simple — just check out like normal:

  • Pay with your HSA or FSA card (debit or credit) directly at checkout. Your benefits card works just like any other card — no extra steps.
  • Prefer to use a different card? Pay with any card and keep your itemized TechSpecs receipt to submit to your plan administrator for reimbursement.

Which TechSpecs are eligible?

All of our RELAX™ reading glasses qualify, including The Zen, The Chill, and The Focus. Accessories such as cases aren't eligible.

Heads up: FSA dollars expire

Most FSA balances reset on December 31 under a use-it-or-lose-it rule. If you have funds left this year, a pair of TechSpecs is a smart way to put them to work before they're gone.
